Anal itching

It is a disease that is characterized by the formation of redness and burns due to scratching in the skin layer around the anus area for various reasons, and the change of the skin, causing serious problems for the patients. Anus itching is a disease that directly affects the social and work-life of the patient, puts patients into difficulties, and pushes patients towards social phobia. It is more common between the ages of 30 and 60.

Anal itching is seen as a disease that prevents us from living comfortably in society and causes serious discomfort during the day. Patients with anal itching always want to go to the toilet and relax. This situation distracts patients from work and social life.

Contrary to popular belief, rectal itching is more common in patients who pay more attention to the cleanliness of the back area and therefore causes deterioration of the flora of the region. Although it is due to many reasons, the cause cannot be determined in the majority of patients. Things that may cause are the following.

Treatment of rectal itching should primarily be directed towards the cause. For this reason, recovery can be observed after the treatment of the disease-causing itching in the area.

Since the cause cannot be determined in most patients, it is possible to get rid of the disease with simple methods that can be applied at home.

Especially, the regulation of intestinal tract movements has an important effect on rectal itching. Therefore, consuming foods with fiber, namely pulp, will reduce the itching and burning sensation around the rectal area, as it will regulate intestinal flora and movements.

If the patient thinks that the itching is caused by various soaps and soap derivatives due to excessive cleaning, cutting these soap derivatives and cleaning this area with only a warm shower and then drying it with a cotton towel without rubbing, drying it with a hair dryer if necessary, will restore the normal flora of the area. In most the time the diseases, the disease can be treated at home.

In daily life, keeping the back area moist should be prevented, therefore, breathable cotton underwear should be used.

If we work by sitting all the time, getting up and walking from time to time to ventilate this area is recommended, preferring more spacious and airy clothes instead of tight-fitting clothes around the breech and hip area will also be beneficial in preventing rectal itching.

Medical treatment is required in patients who do not recover with these measures.

In the treatment of rectal itching, most patients can be treated with fungicides, antibiotics for bacteria and parasites, and superficial creams that prevent skin itching, provided that it is aimed at the cause.

It is possible to prevent the disease by applying various mixtures prepared with methylene blue and cortisone to the skin of the region in the treatment of persistent and undetermined rectal itching.
